Blancpain held an exhibition with the theme of the Fifty Fathoms models and the evolution at the time of the 65th anniversary of the iconic collection.
Displaying antique timepieces of Blancpain Fifty Fathoms
During the exhibition, it displays a series of antique timepieces including the brand’s first Fifty Fathoms launched in 1953, which was also the first diving watch in the world. The visitors also have the opportunity to explore the classic fake Blancpain Fifty Fathoms timepieces from different times, which had ever been the professional equipment for French Frogman Diving Force and worldwide navy forces. Meanwhile, some patents and documents which have rarely presented on public before have been displayed this time.
Promoting the Marine public welfare of Blancpain
The exhibition has added a special area to promote its public welfare of marine, containing all the initiatives the brand has taken over the past 15 years to promote the exploration and conservation of the ocean. The photographs taken underwater allow the visitors to appreciate the vast and profound ocean and know the four-chamber squid exploration project well. Some Blancpain copy watches with automatic movements limited editions especially designed for the project have been exhibited too.
