Chopard released a L.U.C Perpetual Tourbillon wristwatch with the theme of Día de Muertos, which is a surprise for the watch fans as the former watches the brand created were commonly with traditional styles. However, the integrated design of this new Chopard replica with rose gold case is dark and tenebrous.
Día de Muertos is a traditional festival in Mexico which could date back to the Aztec civilization hundreds of years ago. During Oct.31 to Nov.2, friends and family members will gather together to pray for the dead people. It is an important festival in Mexico. Inspired by the important festival, Chopard exquisitely blended the Tourbillon and Perpetual Calendar into the pattern of skull on the dial. 43 mm Chopard L.U.C knockoff watch has been engraved with the elements of Día de Muertos including the skull, flowers, Vihuela and so on.
On the dial, the teeth of the skull are made from mother-of-pearl while the two eyes have indicated the Perpetual Calendar. The power reserve indication could be seen from the see-through caseback.
